Conan O'Brien Was Almost on Xbox Live!

According to the web site Gamasutra TV comedian Conan O’Brien almost ended up doing a show to be shown exclusively on the Xbox 360. According to executive producer Jeff Ross, Microsoft approached Conan O’Brien after he left NBC in early 2010 and asked him to do a show for Xbox Live. “You meet with these guys and they show you all this stuff that they’re developing and it’s mind blowing,” said Ross. “I think it’s coming and it’s big. It’s just that we weren’t in a position at that point to figure out what it was.” Apparently things didn’t pan out because Microsoft was unclear about the direction they wanted to go in if Conan decided to come on board. This lead to Conan ending up on TBS. To read more about this story Click Here!

Reasons You Should Watch "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia"

One of my favorite television shows of all time is coming back this Thursday night September 16th for its 6th season. This show is no other than the cult favorite turned hit "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia". This gem that truly started picking up steam when Danny DeVito joined the cast in season 2 has been described as "Seinfeld on Crack" and I have to agree with that assessment. The premise is simple--four selfish, ignorant, and despicable friends run a bar in Philly. That's it! That sums up the whole show. Like Seinfeld, the enjoyment from It's Always Sunny comes from the characters' eccentricities, ethical deficiencies, and relationships with one another.  So I am giving you the reasons why you should tune into this show!

Comic Books That Should Be Television Shows!

Let's face it! I don't think there will be a summer where there is no big comic book adaptation being placed on our movie screens. There are all types of comic book properties being bought up like crack in New Jack City because they are lucrative if done right. Spiderman, Iron Man and Batman are some examples of a comic book hero coming to your screen and setting off a new blockbuster franchise that makes movie studios millions of dollars. Now I am a fan of the "super hero" genre of movies especially when they are done as exceptionally well. Christopher Nolan has proven it can be done with the genius that is "The Dark Knight". However, there are some comic books where the story would be best suited for the television medium. Sometimes you need to invest a little more time into the world and characters that are created to fully appreciate the story taking place and 1hr and 30 mins is just not gonna cut it. So here is my list for the comic books that should be television shows!

Dexter is coming Back!!!

I have just seen the trailer for the new upcoming season of Dexter! If you haven't been following this show then you are really missing out. Set in Miami, the show centers on Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall), a blood-spatter analyst for the Miami Metro Police Department, who moonlights as a serial killer.
