And The Role of Superman goes to?

That's right the new Superman movie being directed by Zack Snyder has cast their Man of Steel. Who do you think got the part? Well you have probably never heard of him and you might have a little trouble picturing him in that iconic blue, yellow and red costume but he has been cast nonetheless.

Villains for new Batman Movie Revealed!!

After much speculation it is finally revealed who our villains will be in the next Batman installment (The Dark Knight Rises). The third film being directed by the brilliant Christopher Nolan has seen countless names attached to it. We have heard names of the who's who in Hollywood such as: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Johnny Depp, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Angelina Jolie, Cher, Eddie Murphy, Rachel Weisz, Miley Cyrus, Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox.The huge success of The Dark Knight surely lead to the feeding frenzy of wanting to know who was going to be cast in what role but I have to tell you that I did not see this coming...

Zack Snyder Will Direct the Next Superman Film!

It is official. Zack Snyder who directed the Dawn of the Dead remake, 300 (which was a huge box office smash) and Watchmen was picked by producers Christopher Nolan and David Goyer to direct the next Superman movie. His current project "Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole" is in theatres now and is doing fairly well.

The Green Hornet Trailer!

So I have seen the trailer for The Green Hornet and I have to say that even though my expectations were kinda low on this one I was pleasantly surprised. This movie might actually turn out to be rather entertaining. When I first heard Seth Rogen was cast to play Britt Reid, a newspaper publisher by day who goes out in his masked "Green Hornet" identity at night to fight crime as a vigilante , accompanied by his similarly masked Asian manservant Kato (played by Jay Chou) I thought to myself "YEAH RIGHT!!!"

Movie Review: Devil

Ok, so Friday night I decided to go check out the movie Devil with a couple of my friends despite the Shyamalan name being attached to this movie and I am actually happy I did because surprisingly Devil turned out to be a suspenseful, entertaining and at times quite frightening film. I can honestly say it is Shyamalan's best in a while! Who knew all he needed to do was not direct or write the movie himself but give someone else a concept let them write it and then find someone to direct the film. Why didn't he think of this soultion sooner?

Brad Pitt Linked To Red Dead Redemption Movie

With video game to movie adaptations coming out of the wood work there is no surprise in hearing all the chatter about the hit Rockstar game Red Dead Redemption may be coming to a theatre near you. I just never would have thought a star with such a big name would be attached to it. Brad Pitt may have been tapped to play the gritty lead character John Marston!

I want to see Quentin Tarantino's Natural Born Killers

I recently watched Natural Born Killers today. There was nothing on cable and the dvd was staring at me on the shelf so I popped it in to watch. Now this movie is one of my favorite films by Oliver Stone and I have always been entertained by the over the top characters Mickey and Mallory Knox. But I have to admit that I have always and still want to see Quentin Tarantino's original vision for this movie.

GREEN LANTERN PRODUCERS WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to comment on the “first look” at Ryan ReynoldsGreen Lantern “costume,” on the cover of EW (magazines are still useful?!). This costume sucks Monkey Balls! Reynolds is not actually wearing a costume, rather the entire suit is CGI-ed onto his body. Who ever came up with this brilliant idea needs to be blackballed from Hollywood. I would not only think that having your entire costume CGI-ed to your body would be more expensive then actually wearing a costume made out of material but having your costume CGI-ed is just fucking STUPID!!! It looks like something I created in photoshop. The mask looks like face paint. The costume looks even worst. If the costume looks this stupid I can only imagine what the fight scenes are going to look like. As a woman I would have loved to see Ryan Reynolds in an actual costume because he is a lovely piece of eye candy (I apologize in advance to all my male readers) but this is just crazy, bizarre and beyond stupid. I am not looking forward to this sure to be shitastic movie.

Ghostbuster Surprise

Now I must tell you I am a HUGE Ghostbusters fan. It is one of those timeless movies from my childhood that stops me in my tracks whenever it is aired on tv. Few movies have this esteemed place in my heart. But I have to tell you that when I saw this all I could do was wish I was there to experience this for myself. I bawled in Laughter at this hilarious pop culture tribute to a classic and I just had to share it.
