Comic Books That Should Be Television Shows!
Let's face it! I don't think there will be a summer where there is no big comic book adaptation being placed on our movie screens. There are all types of comic book properties being bought up like crack in New Jack City because they are lucrative if done right. Spiderman, Iron Man and Batman are some examples of a comic book hero coming to your screen and setting off a new blockbuster franchise that makes movie studios millions of dollars. Now I am a fan of the "super hero" genre of movies especially when they are done as exceptionally well. Christopher Nolan has proven it can be done with the genius that is "The Dark Knight". However, there are some comic books where the story would be best suited for the television medium. Sometimes you need to invest a little more time into the world and characters that are created to fully appreciate the story taking place and 1hr and 30 mins is just not gonna cut it. So here is my list for the comic books that should be television shows!

Gamer of the Week!
Here is Ix iRon Taco xI
Here is this week's "Gamer of the Week! He is a NY native who plays guitar in a kick ass band known as "Nothing Near Sight". His band currently plays Metallica cover songs while they are working on their own cool material. So I had a little chat to get inside the head of a power cord playing guitar player to learn about some of the things he likes and his gaming habits.

The New Call of Duty: Black Ops Trailer
So I got my first look of the new Call of Duty Black Ops trailer and I have to say I am officially EXCITED! There are a lot of new surprises in store and I for one can't wait because I am addicted to this series. However, I would like for them to handle the glitching issues before and during launch so we don't end up with the seemingly endless amount of cheaters we had for Modern Warfare 2. So here are a few things to look forward to in the upcoming release.
Madden 2011 is finally here!
She was the very first person to receive her copy because she was the first person in line LUCKY!!!! |
OK, so I am just getting home from my local video game store from picking up my copy of Madden 2011 at 12am. I haven't cracked open my game just yet because I wanted to write this post. I did however manage to get a little game time in at the store for one half and I can honestly say that I think I am going to be comfortable with the changes that have been made to the game. There are a few things I have to get used to. For instance there is no turbo button on the default settings. I didn't realize this until after a couple of plays but before you know if you will completely forget all about the missing turbo. But all in all the game play looks fantastic. This year's Madden is most definitely geared towards the mainstream football fan by being less complex so to some this will be a welcomed change but to some of the hardcore Madden fans there may be a few complaints. But I don't think the bad outweigh the good here. So enjoy the game everybody. Looking forward to seeing you online.

Classic Movies That Should NEVER Be Remade!
Hollywood has a bad habit of rehashing old classics to disastrous results. We have Planet of The Apes, Psycho, The Longest Yard and who can forget the horrific epic fail that was Clash of the Titans. These are prime examples of "if it ain't broke don't try to fix it" motto. Remaking a film is not easy and should be avoided unless it is in the worthy hands of someone who understood why the original is a classic in the first place. There has to be a legitimate reason for an update. Plus the update needs to be adding something to the original without completely losing the essence of the original. I know it is hard to keep up but this is the criteria I have set for all the people thinking of remaking some of the classics we know and love. These films are called "CLASSICS" for a reason Mr. Hollywood Exec that thinks he is the next damn Ari Gold! So here is my list of the top films that SHOULD NEVER be remade! (in no particular order)

Gamer of The Week!
Say Hello To XxInC0gNgR0xX
This 16 year old New York Native gamer is known for having a venom laced tongue. That means he is no stranger to trash talking. Don't be too alarmed. He only does it to get your head out of the game for an easy victory. Plus it makes things more interesting right? So I chatted with the official first ever "Gamer of the Week" to learn a little more about him.
